It was my healing journey that inspired me to be a counselor. Many years ago I went through a very dark time in my life. I was addicted to multiple substances, I suffered from depression and anxiety and I felt angry all the time - basically, I had lost hope for myself and my life. That is when I made a commitment to counseling and was blessed to work with a gifted and compassionate counselor who helped me find meaning in my life so that I was able to make changes that included sobriety from my addictions and a new found believe in myself. Our work together became a gentle, healing balm on my troubled spirit, and from that work, a beautiful and tranformed life has bloomed. Since then, I have been dedicated to share all that I have learned, personally and professionally, with

others. Helping people find their joy, happiness and love of self is my passion. I believe each person has the right and the ability to live a life that is empowered and free! 

 

My specialties include addiction and those affected by another person's addiction, codependency (those who do everything for others while ignoring their own needs), healing from trauma and abuse and inner child work. I also offer creative therapy to those who are drawn to alternative ways of expression as a healing modality.
